We won some stuff... we got medals... it isn't important. What do they mean anyway?

Updated: Feb 11, 2021

They don't mean a damn thing if you don't like our chutney. Thankfully some judges thought they were good enough to give us a medal.

Judges at the Fine Food Awards thought our Bombay Brinjal was 2% rubbish. They gave us 98 out of 100...oh, and a Gold Medal... and the Chutney Champion Award... and the Best Exhibit Award.

Now that still doesn't mean that you'll like it. But... it at least it gives you some confidence that it's worth a try. The worst thing that can happen is you end up tossing your toast in the bin... and keep the chutney to give a soup or a casserole a kick, or mix it with some sour cream to make a dip. Even that one elderly lady that wasn't keen on trying our Brinjal loved it in a dip. That's another story... you can see it on our 'People Talk' page.

If you'd like to try some, we do tastings now and then... or you can visit one of the locations that stock Bombay Brinjal. You'll find a list of them here soon or sign up for updates on our contact page.
